Nora13, a rock band from South Tyrol was founded in October 2005. The band create their own original compositions influenced by melodic and progressive rock. An individual world of sound with an emphasis on dynamic details, a little away from the everyday radio music. Underlined by Roberto Mineo’s synthesizer sounds, Tom Plattner provides catchy riffs and exciting guitar solos. Andrea Cristofaro, bass and Matthias Burger, drums provide distinctive structured tempo changes and groovy rhythm. The centre of the sound is provided by the remarkable voice of Manni Alber, stirring lyrics critical of society and synthetic chorus.
Since 2008 Nora13 have been performing at several concerts and fund-raising events in and around South Tyrol. They have appeared at Rock im Ring and the International Live Awards.
After several replacements at keyboard and drums, the beginning of 2010 saw the band perfect its line up. A visit to the recording studio in the summer of 2010 produced their first promo-CD “Wonderland” consisting of 5 songs. The second CD "You Are The Reason" is available since july of 2011.
In October 2010 Nora13 produced in collaboration with VideoCap a video clip of the song “Wonderland”. This was then shown on RAI television. If you have missed it or you haven’t seen or heard the band live, you can experience them on YouTube, Facebook or their official website www.nora13.com

Nora13, fondato nell’Ottobre del 2005, è un gruppo rock dell’Alto Adige. Influenzato dal Melodic e Progressive Rock creano e arrangiano musica propria con un’impronta decisa e marcata, che si discosti da quello che si è abituati ad ascoltare nella quotidianità cittadina con particolare attenzione alla dinamicità. Accompagnato dai suoni delle tastiere di Roberto Mineo, Tom Plattner si occupa dei Riff trascinanti e assoli di chitarra emozionanti. Andrea Cristofaro al basso con Matthias Burger alla batteria crea strutture chiare, cambi di tempo e ritmiche groovy. Impronta centrale del suono è la voce di Manni Alber, con cori sintetici, testi critici e coinvolgenti.
Dal 2008 i Nora13 si sono presentati a vari concerti in Alto Adige e dintorni, per esempio al Rock im Ring e all’International Live Award.
Dopo diverse sostituzioni alle tastiere e alla batteria nell’inizio del 2010 il gruppo ha trovato la formazione perfetta, così è stato registrato già in estate 2010 il primo CD-Promo "Wonderland" contenente 5 canzoni. Il secondo CD "You Are The Reason" è disponibile da luglio 2011.
Nell’Ottobre dell’anno 2010 i Nora13 hanno prodotto in collaborazione con VideoCap un video musicale del brano “Wonderland” trasmesso sulla rete televisiva RAI. Nora13, gegründet im Oktober 2005, ist eine aus Südtirol stammende Rockband. Beeinflusst vom Melodic und Progressive Rock, schaffen sie mit ihrer ausschließlich aus Eigenkompositionen bestehender Musik eine individuelle Klangwelt, etwas abseits vom alltäglichen Radiosound und mit viel Gefühl für dynamische Details. Untermalt von Roberto Mineo’s Synthesizerklängen sorgt Tom Plattner für eingängige Riffs und spannende Gitarrensolos. Andrea Cristofaro am Bass mit Matthias Burger am Schlagzeug sorgen für klare Strukturen, Tempowechsel und groovige Rhythmen. Das Zentrum des Sounds prägt Manni Alber mit seiner außergewöhnlichen Stimme, synthetischen Chören sowie gesellschaftskritischen, mitreißenden Lyrics.
Seit 2008 sind Nora13 bei verschiedenen Konzerten und Benefizveranstaltungen in und um Südtirol zu sehen und zu hören, dazu gehören Rock im Ring und der International Live Award.
Nach mehreren Neubesetzungen an Keyboard und Schlagzeug hat die Band anfangs 2010 die perfekte Formation gefunden und im Sommer 2010 ging es bereits ins Studio um die erste Promo-CD „Wonderland“ mit 5 Songs einzuspielen. Die zweite CD "You Are The Reason" ist seit Juli 2011 erhältlich.
Im Oktober 2010 haben Nora13 in Zusammenarbeit mit VideoCap einen Videoclip zum Song "Wonderland" produziert der daraufhin im Fernsehsender RAI ausgestrahlt wurde.
